Course Structure & Learning Format
How long do courses last?
Crossway courses generally follow a 7-week format, providing a structured learning experience while remaining manageable for working adults and active leaders.
What does a typical course look like?
Courses may include live or recorded instruction, readings, discussions, practical assignments, case studies, reflection, and assessments. Course activities are designed to connect what participants learn with real leadership and organizational challenges.
How do I access my course materials?
Once enrolled, participants receive access to Crossway’s online learning platform, where they can access course materials, view instruction, participate in discussions, submit assignments, and track their progress.
Participation & Enrollment
Who can participate in Crossway programs?
Crossway programs are designed for emerging and experienced leaders from a variety of backgrounds, including business, nonprofits, education, churches, ministries, community organizations, and other mission-driven settings. You do not need to hold a formal leadership title to participate.
Can I take courses at my own pace?
Crossway courses generally follow a structured schedule so participants can learn and engage together. Within each week, however, participants have flexibility to complete readings, lessons, discussions, and assignments around their existing responsibilities.
Can I take just one course, or do I need to enroll in a full track?
Yes. Participants may take individual courses or pursue a complete leadership-development or certificate program, depending on their goals.
Does Crossway still offer ministry leadership education?
Yes. Ministry leadership remains an important part of Crossway’s mission and heritage. Crossway offers biblical, theological, and practical ministry education as a specialized area within its broader leadership-development programs.
Can Crossway provide leadership development for our organization?
Yes. Crossway can work with organizations, churches, nonprofits, schools, and leadership teams to provide courses, workshops, cohorts, and other leadership-development experiences tailored to organizational needs.
Tuition & Payment
How much do courses cost?

Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?
Crossway does not currently participate in traditional federal financial-aid programs. Flexible payment options may be available, and limited scholarships may occasionally be offered based on need and available resources.
Do you offer group or church discounts?
Yes. Churches, nonprofits, schools, businesses, and other organizations interested in enrolling multiple participants or developing a leadership cohort should contact Crossway to discuss group options.
Certification & Accreditation
Is Crossway Institute accredited?
Crossway Institute is an independent, non-accredited educational organization focused on practical leadership and ministry education. Crossway programs are designed for professional, organizational, and personal development rather than the awarding of accredited college degrees.
Do I receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes. Participants who successfully complete an individual course may receive a certificate of completion. Participants who complete all requirements of a designated certificate program receive a Crossway Institute certificate recognizing completion of that program.
Can Crossway courses transfer to a college or university?
Crossway courses are designed primarily for leadership development rather than college transfer. Individual colleges or universities determine whether they will recognize outside coursework. Participants interested in academic transfer should consult directly with the receiving institution before enrolling.
Does Crossway provide consulting?
Crossway’s primary focus is leadership education and development. Organizations requiring deeper strategic, financial, operational, or organizational advisory support can access additional expertise through Crossway’s relationship with Ministry Advisory Group (MAG), where Crossway founder Dr. Joseph A. Ocasio serves as Managing Partner and co-owner.
